Yumiko has created the "ReIRABO" series, a modern reinterpretation of the traditional Iraho glaze. Known for its hazy surface and uneven texture, Iraho glaze has long been a hallmark of matcha bowls and Japanese ceramic art. Yumiko embraced these natural irregularities to highlight its uniquely Japanese aesthetic. Originally unsuitable for mass production, the glaze was meticulously refined to be microwave and dishwasher-safe while preserving its signature texture.
